As the head of audience product strategy, I oversee the development of audience engagement and revenue tools and features at Newspack.
I also consult, coach, and teach, helping organizations identify opportunities, map strategies, and adopt best practices for engaged journalism and product thinking. Newsletters are always a key part of it.

Previously, as the director of audience and news product at Devex, I led the audience and news product teams through news product development, growth, and engagement strategies. Before that, in my role as the senior product manager for emerging platforms and engagement at the Los Angeles Times, I owned the product roadmap and strategic vision for off-platform experiences like newsletters, alerts, and podcasts.

Before heading to the US West Coast in 2019, I led community and product operations at News Deeply in New York City. I also taught a master's level course at NYU's Journalism Institute on reporting with, rather than on, communities.

Originally from Berlin, Germany, I came to New York in 2011 to work as a business correspondent, reporting for the Financial Times Deutschland, NZZ am Sonntag, Die Zeit and Zeit Online among others. Prior to that, I was a reporter for Reuters in Berlin.
