Now in its 10th year, the HBCU Digital Media Fellowship is a unique opportunity for six students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) to immerse in the digital journalism community. Applications are open now through May 30 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
The fellowship provides a one-year membership to ONA and an expenses-paid trip to the Online News Association’s annual conference — ONA24, Sept. 18-21 in Atlanta.
During the conference, fellows will build and practice their digital journalism skills while working closely with lead mentor Michael Grant, founder of Get Current Studio. They will also have plenty of opportunities to connect with industry leaders through the conference’s learning sessions and networking events. (See what to expect at ONA24)
